Duties and Authorities of the Board of Trustees

1. Approval of the internal bylaws of the Board of Trustees;

2. Approval of the organizational chart and structure of the Center, in accordance with relevant rules and regulations, which shall be implemented upon the approval of the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology;

3. Approval of the financial, transactional, administrative, employment, and organizational bylaws of the Center, which shall be implemented upon the approval of the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology;

4. Review and approval of the Center’s annual and detailed budget, proposed by the President of the Center and endorsed by the Council;

5. Approval of the Center’s annual accounts and balance sheets;

6. Approval of the methods for collecting and expending the Center’s dedicated revenues in compliance with applicable regulations;

7. Approval of the receipt of financial contributions and facilities from natural and legal persons in accordance with relevant rules and regulations;

8. Proposal of the amount of special allowances for academic and non-academic staff (including experts and technical personnel) to the Ministry for approval;

9. Determination of the rates for educational, research, authorship, translation, and similar compensations in compliance with the Ministry’s regulations;

10. Proposal for the development or dissolution of research groups and research institutes of the Center to the Ministry for legal processing;

11. Review of the Center’s annual performance report submitted by the President of the Center and providing opinions thereon.
