On the occasion of World Philosophy Day, Iran University Press organized a series of specialized sessions under the theme ‘Wisdom: The Eternal Mission of Philosophy in Human Life. The session commenced with a speech by Dr. Amir Masoud Shahramnia, head of Iran University Press. Subsequently, a message from Dr. Reza Davari Ardakani, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tehran, was read on the occasion of World Philosophy Day. Following that, Dr. Nasrollah Pourjavady, founder of Iran University Press, and Dr. Najafgholi Habibi, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tehran, delivered their speeches.
The session concluded with the broadcast of a video message from Dr. Gholamreza Aavani, head of the International Association for Islamic Philosophy and Professor at the University. The session, chaired by Dr. Malek Shojaei Jashoghani, focused on the significant place of wisdom and the role of philosophy in contemporary society.
This event was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Conference Hall of Iran University Press, both in-person and online.
