A Faculty Forum session and the third symposium on interdisciplinary studies in artificial intelligence will be held

Iran University Press, Semnan University, and some national scientific institutions will hold a specialized event in line with the deliberation of professors and the third symposium on interdisciplinary studies in artificial intelligence on Tuesday, February 14, 1404, at the Andisheh Hall of Semnan University.
According to University Press , this symposium, as a new cycle of the Press’s series of interdisciplinary deliberations and conferences, has now been designed to focus on various aspects of artificial intelligence technology after the second course on the topic of “Interdisciplinary Studies in Culture, City, and Environment” was held in Tehran in October of this year. This event is being held with the participation of Semnan University and the support of the Commission of Scientific Societies of Iran, the National Foundation of Elites, and the Iranian Artificial Intelligence Association, which shows the importance of analyzing the consequences of the spread of artificial intelligence in the country’s scientific community. This symposium and faculty forum session will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 1404 in four specialized sessions. After a speech by the president of Semnan University and University Press and a presentation by the scientific editors, the first session will address “Emerging Technologies of Artificial Intelligence” and Dr. Mohammad Hadi Zahedi, president of the Iranian Artificial Intelligence Association, and Dr. Abdolhamid Alizadeh from Al-Zahra University will give speeches. The second session, titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Redefining of Humanity, Science, and Society,” will be moderated by Dr. Majid Qolheki and will host lectures by Dr. Amin Motavalian, Dr. Samad Nejad Ebrahimi, and Dr. Zahra Ojaq. The third session will focus on “Economy, Future Life, and Future Perspectives,” with Dr. Farzin Yaghmaei as secretary and lectures by Dr. Marjan Goodarzi, Dr. Kourosh Kiani, and Dr. Alireza Naeimi Seddigh.The fourth session is dedicated to the applications of “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine” under the supervision of Dr. Kourosh Kiani, and Dr. Farzaneh Kermani and Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadi Hamedani, faculty members of Semnan University.
The main goal of holding these programs is to create a common discourse between disciplines in order to hold an international conference related to interdisciplinary studies next year. The goal of these gatherings, in addition to going beyond mere technical discussions and creating a space to examine the philosophical, social, economic, educational and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence with the presence of experts from different disciplines, is to create a space for a different look at interdisciplinary approaches and to break out of academic isolation and provide solutions in line with up-to-date findings for emerging challenges.
