According to the Public Relations Office of the University Publishing Center, a strategic meeting was held with the participation of Dr. Amir-Masoud Shahramnia, President of the University Publishing Center, and Dr. Reza Naghizadeh, Director General of the Higher Education Planning Office at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, along with a number of the Center’s deputies and managers. During the meeting, the latest achievements and development plans of the University Publishing Center in the fields of intelligent content production and the transformation of learning systems were reviewed.
Held with the aim of aligning the educational policies of the Ministry of Science with the executive capabilities of the University Publishing Center, the meeting featured a presentation by Dr. Shahramnia on the Center’s technological capacities and infrastructure for digital transformation. Key discussions then focused on designing a roadmap for the purposeful implementation of artificial intelligence in higher education and leveraging the production capabilities of the University Publishing Center.
Dr. Naghizadeh, while commending the Center’s pioneering role in the production of academic content, emphasized the necessity of changing approaches within learning systems. He highlighted the importance of smart blended learning and stated: “The production of interactive content and the transformation of educational resources into intelligent formats are essential requirements that must be pursued in accordance with national considerations and educational standards.”
The meeting also explored innovative AI-based content production models and the use of learning analytics tools. These approaches can significantly increase production speed while enhancing the quality of content services provided to the academic community.
At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasizing the central role of the University Publishing Center in providing content support for the higher education system, it was agreed that the Center’s technical and content teams, in close cooperation with the Higher Education Planning Office, would finalize the implementation roadmap for the aforementioned projects and proceed with their execution in operational phases.
