Minister of Science, Research, and Technology Appoints Members of Irn University Press Council
According to the Public Relations Office of Iran University Press , Hossein Simayi Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, has issued appointments for the members of Iran University Press Council. In accordance with Clause 1 of Article 15 of the Center’s statutes and considering the valuable experience of these individuals in higher education, they have been appointed for a two-year term.
The issued decrees emphasize the Council’s role in policymaking and in setting strategies and ongoing programs of the Center in accordance with the overarching policies approved by the Board of Trustees and other authorities. It is noted that the distinguished goals of the Center are expected to be achieved in the best possible way during this period through the efforts of the Council members.
The appointed members of Iran University Press Council are as follows:
Mohsen Javadi – Faculty member at Qom University and Cultural Deputy at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance
Mehdi Ghasemi Aliabadi – Advisor to the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology in the field of higher education
Hossein Mirzaei – Faculty member at University of Tehran and Director of the Institute for Culture, Art, and Communication
Abdolamir Nabavi – Faculty member at University of Tehran and Secretary of the Iranian Scientific Associations Commission
Amir Masoud Shahramnia – Faculty member at the University of Isfahan, Director of the Center and Council
